Ersham Road suffers water main burst

Another water main burst in Hailsham is causing delays as temporary traffic lights are set up to deal with the problem.

Rush hour traffic drove through flood waters on Ersham Road this afternoon outside the Loom Mill and South East Water is warning that some residents in the area may experience loss of pressure.

Traffic management have implemented a temporary traffic light system to fix the main after reports of the road surface breaking up.

There are already roadworks in place on Ersham Road to install a new 475 metre water main near to the cemetery.
